News from the Bachchan household appears to be a little glum over the past few days. Wild rumors are flying rife that the Bachchan “Bahu” (daughter-in-law) is down with the latest fear that has gripped the subcontinent, the swine flu. Seemingly, even the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has not been spared.
Fans of the former Miss. World and popular Bollywood actress are much worried about her present state of health. Reportedly, she is down with a bout of flu like symptoms, that is giving the Big B a lot to worry about. In fact, so worried has he been regarding the present condition of his world famous daughter-in-law, that he has taken to sharing his distress with his fans and well-wishers.
His blog reportedly displayed the post for public viewing on Saturday from Singapore, “Aishwarya has taken ill and is down with chest infection and flu like symptoms. She had a high fever yesterday, but is settling down today.”
The 66 year old Amithabh Bachchan is presently in Singapore with his friend, the Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, who is undergoing medical supervision there. “It’s worrying to be so far away from children and not be there to look after them. Yes, they are mature and married and responsible, but children will always remain children.”
However, it remains to be validated by authentic sources whether or not the “flu like symptoms” have been tested positive for the H1N1 virus and confirmed the Big B’s worst fears. Reportedly, the reason for the illness of the 35 year actress has stalled the shooting of the Mani Ratnam directed venture “Ravana.”
